On the recommendation of the board of examiners and the research committee, Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST), Murthal, Vice-Chancellor Shri Prakash Singh has declared six students eligible for PhD degrees. He extended his best wishes to the six researchers and wished them a bright future.

Singh said the university promoted quality research. In this regard, it would award a monthly scholarship of Rs 25,000 to two researchers from each department.

Additionally, each PhD scholar would receive 10,000 rupees for incidental expenses, he added The candidates declared eligible for the PhD degree are Mamta (computer science engineering) and Sushma Kumari, Anupama, Dheeraj Yadav, Renuka, and Sarla Devi (physics). Notifications regarding the PhD degrees of all candidates have been issued. Singh exhorted other researchers to pursue quality research.
