70-year-old man dies by ‘suicide’ in Gurugram

A 70-year-old man allegedly committed suicide at his home in the Arjun Nagar area. His body was found hanging with an iron grill of stairs on Saturday morning. No suicide note was found from the spot and the police are investigating the case.

According to the police, the deceased was identified as Subhash Dua, a resident of Street 11, Arjun Nagar Colony. His son lives in Delhi who came home last night to meet his father. His son informed the police, following which a police team reached the spot and took the body into custody.

“The reason behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained. We are investigating the matter and hope that the picture will be cleared soon,” said Inspector Anil Kumar, SHO of New Colony police station.
