Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar gave in-principle approval for implementation of the 7th Pay Commission to contractual employees of National Health Mission (NHM), Haryana.

The matter was earlier taken up in the general body meeting of the State Health Society, Haryana, on August 11 held under the chairmanship of the CM. Thus, in compliance with the instructions received during the meeting, the file was re-submitted and was granted approval. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
