Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda said the government aimed to further enhance the standard of education in government schools. In this direction, 844 teachers have been promoted, including four to the position of Principal. Promotions for Block Education Officers (BEOs) and District Education Officers (DEOs) would also be done soon, and teacher transfers would be initiated shortly.

He informed that 35 chemistry teachers and 18 Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) have been promoted to Post-Graduate Teachers (PGTs). Besides this, one PGT each (Sanskrit and English) and two (Hindi) have been promoted to the post of Principal. Similarly, four commerce teachers, 207 in English, one in geography, 203 in history, 137 in political science, 13 in sociology, 150 in Sanskrit, 37 in home science and 35 in Hindi have been promoted from TGT to PGT, shared the Education Minister.
