The state reported 980 new cases of Covid, taking the tally to 7.6 lakh. Besides, 71 more persons succumbed to the virus.

Eight persons died in Gurugram, seven in Sonepat, six each in Sirsa and Bhiwani, five each in Rohtak and Jhajjar, four each in Kurukshetra, Fatehababd and Jind, three each in Sonepat, Karnal and Yamunanagar and Kaithal. — TNS
