“It has happened for the first time in the history of Haryana that an Opposition MLA has been chosen for the post,” said Chaudhary.
Gupta said, “In most of the states, an Opposition MLA heads the PAC. Even in Parliament, the PAC chairperson is from the Opposition. But in Haryana, the previous Congress regimes never allowed it. This time, we have decided to nominate an Opposition MLA for the post.”
The other PAC members are MLAs Dr Abhe Singh Yadav, Subhash Sudha, Narender Gupta, Nirmal Rani, Amit Sihag, Shailly, Jogi Ram Sihag and Randhir Singh Gollen. —
