Addressing a workers’ meeting in Tohana, Fatehabad district, on Tuesday, Chautala alleged, “During the Assembly elections, Hooda fielded independent candidates in the Uchana seat to split votes and steal nearly 60,000 votes.”

He also criticised the BJP-led state government, saying it was being run by “unknown and incapable people,” which had led to a deteriorating law and order situation in Haryana.

Taking up farmers’ concerns, Chautala pointed out that recent heavy rains had caused widespread crop damage. “INLD has demanded Rs 50,000 per acre compensation in the Assembly, but the government has not responded yet,” he said.

The INLD leader also urged people to participate in the upcoming Tau Devi Lal Jayanti celebrations in Rohtak on September 25. Senior INLD leaders including Rampal Majra, state president Balwinder Singh, state secretary Bikkar Singh, and district president were present at the meeting.
