The three leaders, including Kanda, held an hour-long meeting on Tuesday before Chautala departed for his engagements. Later, Shastri addressed a large crowd, calling for Hindu unity, preserving Sanatan Dharma, and urging Kanda to establish a drug rehabilitation centre in Sirsa to combat the region’s drug problems.
