The victims, aged between 28 and 35, were residents of the Tohana area and were travelling from Sirsa to Tohana. The driver of the vehicle, Vikram (28), had recently been released from Sirsa jail on bail. He was picked up by his friends Naresh, Krishna, Sukhjinder and Ishwar in a Scorpio car. As they were nearing Bhuna around 11.45 pm, the car lost control, hit the divider and flipped twice before landing in a field.

Naresh (34), and Krishna (28), died instantly, while Vikram, Sukhjinder and Ishwar were critically injured. They were taken to the Bhuna Community Health Centre, where they received initial treatment before being referred to a hospital in Hisar. Unfortunately, Sukhjinder succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital, while the other two are still under treatment.

The police arrived at the scene shortly after being notified and have started an investigation into the accident.
