The court of District and Sessions Judge, Kanchan Mahi, has sentenced two men to 10-year of rigorous imprisonment in a snatching incident. The court has sentenced Gaurav Singla and Sushil Arora.

Additional District Attorney Neeraj Rana said in December 2021, a complaint was received at the Ambala City police station in which Yogesh Sehgal had stated that three people attacked him and snatched Rs 42,000 and a mobile phone from him. A case was registered and the accused Gaurav Singla, Sushil Arora and Sandeep were arrested. The court has convicted Gaurav Singla and Sushil Arora under Section 379-B of the IPC, while the case against Sandeep is pending. The court has sentenced Gaurav Singla and Sushil Arora to 10 years rigorous imprisonment and also slapped a fine of Rs 25,000 each on them, the Additional District Attorney said.
