Ambala Deputy Commissioner Ajay Singh Tomer paid a surprise visit at the SDM complex in Ambala Cantonment and interacted with the people there.

The Deputy Commissioner took a stock of arrangements and services being provided to the citizens. He visited various offices and Tehsil in the SDM complex and issued instructions to the employees.

While visiting the Antyodya Saral Kendra, Tomer enquired about the registration certificates of vehicles, driving licence, birth certificates, death certificates, SC and OBC certificates and other facilities.

He said all applications should be processed within the stipulated time frame and the citizens should get the services on time. The employees concerned should do the work of the people on priority and if there was any deficiency in the documents, then those concerned people should be informed about that too.

During the visit, Subdivisional Magistrate (SDM) Ambala Cantonment Vinesh Kumar gave detailed information to the Deputy Commissioner about the functioning of the office and updated him about the work and services being made available to the people there.
