Gaurav used to stop Gurmeet from taking drugs due to which they used to have arguments. On October 6, they again had arguments over the same issue and all of a sudden Gurmeet stabbed Gaurav with a knife in his stomach and managed to flee. Gaurav was rushed to the PCH, Bihta, and then to Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantonment, from where he was referred to the PGI, Chandigarh, where he died while undergoing treatment. A case was registered at Saha police station under Section 302 of the IPC and the accused was arrested on October 7.
