The Sabar Dairy Plant will produce 150 metric tonnes of curd, 3 lakh litres of butter-milk, 10 metric tonnes of yogurt and 10 metric tonnes of sweets per day.
Shah announced that 75,000 new cooperative dairy societies would be constituted in the country, with every village panchayat having a cooperative dairy society by 2029.
Shah also distributed latest machines, tool-kits, and margin money under the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) among artisans at the Khadi Karigar Mahotsav organised on the campus of Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) at Rohtak.
Meanwhile, student leader Pradeep Deswal and social activist Naveen Jaihind were detained by the police at their respective houses in Rohtak during Shah's visit.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was also present at the inauguration ceremony.
