Another held in grenade case

The CIA-2 unit of the Kurukshetra police has arrested an accomplice of the two miscreants who were arrested with a hand grenade and five live cartridges on October 7.

The arrested accused has been identified as Suresh, a resident of Kaithal. The CIA-2 unit has also recovered a country-made pistol and four live cartridges.

CIA-2 in-charge Mohan Lal said during the investigation of the grenade case, the team arrested Suresh on October 13. There are already three cases, including a murder and assault cases against him in Kaithal. Further investigation in the case is underway.

On October 7, the two miscreants Gurvinder and Sandeep of Punjab were arrested and a hand grenade and live cartridges were recovered from their possession on the Kurukshetra-Pehowa road.
