The SDM reached the market area in the city with teams of the Pehowa Municipal Committee and the departments concerned. Siwach directed the officials to remove encroachments, many of which have existed for over 50 years.

The SDM said: “No encroachment will be allowed in the city. All shopkeepers have been given some time to remove encroachment on main roads and market areas. If shopkeepers do not remove the encroachment themselves, the administration will take action as per rules.”
