Nearly 90 per cent of complaints, coming from other districts, used to be related to the police department, but now it is not with me. So, I asked them to approach the CM. — Anil Vij, Cabinet minister

Vij used to hold Janta Darbars in Ambala Cantonment during his tenure as home minister. Hundreds of people from across the state used to arrive there to raise their grievances. Currently, the Home Department is with Chief Minister Nayab Saini.

As per information, some people from Shahabad reportedly reached Ambala on Tuesday to raise their grievances, however, Vij refused to listen to them, saying they should approach the Chief Minister.
