Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the proposed new terminal building and inaugurate air services at Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar on April 14. In this regard, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday reviewed the preparations at Maharaja Agrasen Airport for the Prime Minister's visit.

The Chief Minister held a meeting with the administrative officials and thoroughly reviewed the arrangements made for the Prime Minister's visit. On the occasion, Public Works Minister Ranbir Gangwa, MLAs Savitri Jindal, Randhir Panihar and senior officials were present.

The Chief Minister said all comprehensive arrangements should be ensured in the programme. Also, alternative road routes should be arranged so that the general public does not face any problem.

The Chief Minister said for the convenience of the people, there should be adequate arrangements of clean drinking water, toilets and fans etc. at the venue.

Separate vehicle parking for each district

The Chief Minister said people from many districts of the state are going to attend the programme. Therefore, no person should face any problem. He directed that separate parking spaces be set up for each district for parking of vehicles.

Venue divided into sectors

It was informed in the meeting that the entire venue has been divided into sectors for the convenience of the people coming see to the programme. The sectors have been made for the youth and women to sit in front of the stage.

No wild animal on airport premises

The Chief Minister said there should be no wild animal on the airport premises. If any are found here, then it must be caught and taken to an appropriate place and left there. The officials of the departments concerned gave feedback to the Chief Minister in this regard and said almost all wild animals were taken to appropriate places. A campaign will be run regarding this. The Chief Minister directed the officials to work continuously to keep all arrangements in order.
