Back me, key to power will be in your hands, Dushyant tells cadre
Mahendragarh, August 21
Former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala today addressed a series of public meetings in Ateli, Mirzapur Bachhod, Sagarpur, Duloth Jat, Atali ki Dhani, Daungra Ahir, Israna, Chelawas and Kharkara Baas village under Ateli Assembly segment.
He called upon the party workers and other people present there to support the JJP in the Assembly polls. “40 days are still left for the Assembly elections. If you support me, the key to power will be in your hands again and the development of southern Haryana will continue uninterrupted,” he asked the people.
Putting the BJP in the dock, Dushyant said the BJP had its own government in neighbouring Rajasthan where old-age pension is Rs 700 but the JJP on coming to power hiked the pension in Haryana to Rs 3,000 by raising it Rs 250 every year. After the formation of Ateli Assembly segment, people here elected BJP MLA twice and Congress MLA once but no one brought any major development project to Ateli in the past one-and-half decade, he added. “During our government, we ensured equal development in every Assembly segment and spent hundreds of crores on roads here. When the Congress was in power, the government was confined only to Rohtak. People of Rohtak got employment while unemployment increased in the rest of the districts. When the JJP became a part of the power, they improved the roads of every area, he claimed.
“Now the Assembly elections are near. Late Chaudhry Devi Lal ji used to say that change will come only when everyone unites so it’s time to work unitedly to ensure the victory of the JJP in the Assembly polls. During our government, we worked to get 75 per cent reservation for the youth of Haryana in private companies and ensured 50 per cent participation of women in Panchayati Raj,” the JJP leader said.
