BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli and Rajya Sabha MP Rekha Sharma were the chief speakers.
Addressing party workers and leaders, Badoli exhorted them to reach out to grassroots. He highlighted the achievements of PM Narendra Modi-led Union government and said, “Whatever PM Modi had promised in 2014 has been fulfilled and taken to its logical conclusion over these 11 years. A comparison between pre-2014 and today’s India shows a transformational change. Modi's ‘Viksit Bharat’ vision by 2047 is a mission we all must work collectively to achieve,” he said.
He outlined upcoming initiatives under the campaign and said a media dialogue would be held on June 8, while digital competitions on the theme “Changing India–My Experience” would be held from June 9 to July 9. State-level press conferences would be organised on June 9.
On June 10 and 11, district-level press briefings, professional meets and exhibitions would be organised, he said. Mandal-level ‘Sankalp Sabhas’ would be held from June 12 to 14.
Yoga training camps would be held at mandal level from June 17-21, while from June 5 to August 15, a sapling plantation drive would be organised in the wake of World Environment Day, he said.
Rekha Sharma claimed that India had emerged as a global leader and Modi’s governance had empowered citizens, strengthened military capabilities, and transformed infrastructure across the nation. “Highways and link roads under the PM's leadership have improved connectivity and reinforced the national fabric,” she said.
