Two youths, roughly 20 years old, were run over by a train on the Rohtak-Delhi track near Chhotu Ram Nagar in Bahadurgarh on Thursday. The deceased have been identified as Shivam and Akash from Madhya Pradesh.

The tragic incident occurred while the boys were using their smartphones to shoot reels on the railway track. Both died on the spot. The Government Railway Police rushed to the scene and sent the bodies to the civil hospital for post-mortem.

The locals told investigating officer Urmila that the boys were engrossed in their phones and did not notice the approaching train. Although some people yelled out warnings, they were drowned out by the sound of the train.
