Industrialists intending to set up units in the Alipur-Barwala industrial area in Panchkula district have demanded better power supply.

Baldev Goel, executive member of the Beopar Prakoshth of the BJP, in a representation to the Haryana Chief Minister, said a number of industrialists in the pharmaceutical industry wanted to set up their units in this industrial area. However, there were a lot of problems due to regular power cuts here. The installation of a new power grid in the Barwala/Raipur Rani area could solve the problem of erratic power supply in the area, he said.

Meanwhile, he demanded the setting up of an office of the HSIIDC in Barwala to take care of the routine problems of the industrialists, besides an early decision on the industrialist plots resumed by the state government.
