Minister of State for Transport and Women and Child Development Aseem Goel on Friday announced Olympian Manu Bhaker as the brand ambassador of the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ campaign in Haryana. Speaking to mediapersons, after attending an event in Ambala Cantonment,

Aseem Goel said, “Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh have brought laurels for the country and it is a matter of pride for us that they belong to Haryana. Manu Bhaker will be the brand ambassador of the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ campaign. The way Manu has showcased her talent on foreign soil will undoubtedly inspire other players too.” He said the government was making constant efforts to provide better infrastructure to players in Haryana.
