A police station of Haryana was among three stations that received trophies from Union Home Minister Amit Shah for being adjudged among the three best police stations in the country.

The Sadar Bazaar in New Delhi and Gangapur in Odisha were the two other police stations given the best police trophy by Shah at the annual conference of police chiefs from across the country that got under way in Lucknow today.

Om Prakash, Station House Officer (SHO), Bhattu Kalan, received the trophy from Shah. Bhattu Kalan police station has jurisdiction over 24 villages and Bhattu Kalan town. —TNS
