Jasmine is now India’s ninth World Champion in boxing. She credited her success to her coach, family, hard work and strict discipline. Addressing mediapersons, Jasmine said her win has brought joy to her family and the entire town. She is now preparing for the 2026 Asian Games and Commonwealth Games.

Jasmine said World Cup Final would be held in India this October, with a training camp scheduled to start soon. Her ultimate goal is to win a medal for India at the 2029 Olympics.

Discussing her matches, Jasmine said she fought five bouts to claim gold. She faced an Olympic medallist during the championship and focused on staying calm while employing sharp counter-attacks to secure victory.
