The Bhiwani police have launched a special search operation at suspected places in an attempt to combat drug trafficking and abuse in the district. The police launched extensive search operation with the active participation of all SHOs and police post incharges. They carried out targeted operations in their respective areas.

The police conducted surprise raids at suspected drug-related spots and carried out checks on suspicious individuals and vehicles. Superintendent of Police, Bhiwani, Nitish Agarwal emphasised the importance of eliminating the drug menace, describing it as a significant threat to society. The SP said the operation would continue with the support of law enforcement agencies and public cooperation.

The district police also took the help of the commando unit and a dog squad to identify drug peddlers and those indulging in selling drugs in areas under various police stations.
