In a thrilling women’s final match during the 27th Haryana State Football Games at Haryana Police Academy Madhuban, Bhiwani, clinched the trophy by defeating Hisar in penalty shootout, winning the game 5-4.

On the other hand, in an exciting men’s final match, Fatehabad emerged victorious over Jhajjar with 4-2 win in a tense tie-breaker. Both the matches kept spectators on edge till the end as all players displayed exceptional skill and determination.

After the thrilling finish, the winning and runner-up players were honoured with medals in a prize distribution ceremony, Puneet Kumar, football coach, said.

Earlier on Thursday, Jhajjar defeated Panipat by 4–0 in the men’s semifinal, while Fatehabad won from Karnal in a thrilling penalty shootout by 5–4. In the women’s category semi-finals, Bhiwani registered a 3–0 victory over Sonipat, and Hisar beat Rohtak 4–0 to reach the finals.
