Prominent BJP leaders, including newly elected Mayor Komal Saini, district president Dushyant Bhatt and joint coordinator Ved Parashar, were also present at the conference.

Dr Gupta said the event will be organised in Panipat, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Sonepat, Faridabad and Gurugram, featuring Bihar’s rich cultural programmes.

“Bihar has a glorious history. Buddhist Vihars are renowned worldwide and the state has been a hub of education. Nalanda University, once globally recognised, has been revived under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership,” she said.

Remembering Ram Manohar Lohia, Karpoori Thakur and Jai Prakash Narayan, Dr Gupta highlighted Bihar’s significant contributions to the country’s political landscape.

She also drew parallels with the Kashi-Tamil Sangamam, a cultural exchange initiative previously held in North India to strengthen ties with Tamil heritage.

The Bihar Day event in Panipat will be held at the Arya College auditorium, with Bihar Cabinet Minister Vinod Mandal and BJP Bihar general secretary Sanjay as the main participants.

“The programme is part of Prime Minister Modi’s vision of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ to foster national unity through cultural exchanges,” Dr Gupta added.
