Former Union Minister Birender Singh has announced a 'sadbhavna yatra' in the state from October 5, with an aim to strengthen the party and raise people’s issues. Singh along with his son and former Hisar MP Brijendra Singh held a meeting of their workers in Adampur today.

The programme was presided over by Brijlal Bahbalpuria, district president of the Congress. On this occasion, Brijendra Singh expressed gratitude to the central Congress leadership, including Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi for appointing him vice-chairman of the foreign affairs department of the party.
