The Bishnoi Sabha celebrated its 540th foundation day on Thursday with a religious ceremony at the Bishnoi Dharamshala. Newly-elected Dabwali MLA Aditya Devi Lal attended the event, where he was welcomed by the Bishnoi Sabha officials.

He inaugurated a newly-constructed room at the dharamshala. Aditya Devi Lal also paid his respects at the temple of Guru Jambheshwar.The MLA expressed gratitude for the recognition and announced a donation of Rs 5 lakh for the dharamshala’s development.

According to sabha Secretary Inderjeet Bishnoi, the Bishnoi faith was established over 540 years ago by Guru Jambheshwar at Samarthal Dhor near Nokha, Bikaner.
