The BJP has once again fielded former Minister of State Manish Grover from the Rohtak Assembly constituency. He will contest against the sitting MLA and Congress candidate Bharat Bhushan Batra.

This will be the fourth Assembly election in which Grover and Batra will contest against each other.

Prior to this, they had confronted each other in 2009, 2014 and 2019. While Batra won in 2009 and 2019, Grover emerged victorious in 2014.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
