BJP has betrayed Kaushal Rojgar Nigam workers after taking votes: Hooda

Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has accused the BJP of breaking its promise with skilled workers claiming that before the elections, the BJP had announced to make 1.25 lakh temporary workers permanent, but it has now started removing them from posts.

“The BJP lied to workers of Kaushal Rojgar Nigam before the Assembly elections. As soon as it won the elections, the BJP started removing them from the job,” Hooda said after a delegation of skilled workers working in the Irrigation Department handed over a memorandum to him, demanding to raise their issue in the Assembly.

Hooda assured that he would raise their demands on every platform, including the Assembly. He said before the elections, the BJP used to talk about making all employees working under Kaushal Nigam regular, now it is only making those employees who have been working for 5 years permanent. “The High Court has not only reprimanded the government for this policy, but has also imposed a fine,” he said.

Hooda arrived as the chief guest at a programme held in Madina village here today.

Earlier, on the occasion of Republic Day, Hooda extended greetings to all countrymen and the people of the state. He hoisted the flag and saluted all martyrs and freedom fighters. On the occasion, Hooda said the country had got Independence and Constitution after the sacrifice of millions of people and thousands of martyrdoms. It is the duty of every Indian to protect it.
