The main event was held at Bhagat Singh Stadium in Sirsa, where Nalwa MLA Randhir Panihar flagged off the run. Participants ran through major city routes before returning to the stadium. Addressing the gathering, Panihar said Sardar Patel’s efforts to unite over 550 princely states after India’s independence laid the foundation for a strong and unified nation. “Run for Unity is not just a race, it symbolises discipline, patriotism and the spirit of togetherness,” he said, urging youth to follow Patel’s ideals and stay away from drugs.

In Dabwali, senior BJP leader Baldev Singh Mangeana inaugurated the run at Ved Ram Dayal Government Model Senior Secondary School. He praised Patel’s role in integrating the princely states and said the day reminds citizens of the values of unity and national service. The event saw large participation from students and the public. In Ellenabad, senior BJP leader Amir Chand Mehta launched the run from Devi Lal Chowk to Ambedkar Chowk. He said Patel’s vision and leadership continue to inspire the youth to work selflessly for national unity and strength.

In Kalanwali, BJP Mandal president Lovely Garg flagged off the ‘Run for Unity’ at the Government Senior Secondary School. He said the event reflects the message of brotherhood and harmony that Patel stood for.
