After being denied ticket, Ratia BJP MLA Laxman Napa today joined the Congress along with his supporters. He took the Congress membership under the leadership of former CM and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Haryana Congress president Udai Bhan. Rohtak MP Deepender Hooda was also present on this occasion.

Along with Laxman Napa, 22 sarpanchs of the constituency, Block Samiti chairman representative Gurtej Singh and vice-chairman Kuldeep Singh Manak also joined the Congress.
