Blood donation camp at NIT-Kurukshetra

The NSS unit of NIT-Kurukshetra organised a blood donation camp on Monday in collaboration with the State Blood Transfusion Council.

Dean (Students’ Welfare) Prof Dixit Garg highlighted the importance of blood donation, saying not only it saved lives but was also a social responsibility that every individual should fulfill.

He encouraged students and staff members to donate blood regularly and said it was beneficial for one’s own health.

Ashok Verma from the Narcotics Control Bureau emphasised the role of youth in social activities such as blood donation, describing it as a vital tool for bringing about a positive change in society. More than 125 people donated blood on the occasion.
