Sonepat, July 19

The bodies of two teenagers of Umedgarh village in the Murthal area were fished out from the Yamuna on Monday. Family members alleged that both were thrown into the river after being murdered. They also blocked the traffic on NH-44 near Bhigan village by keeping one teenager’s body on the road.

The deceased have been identified as Annu Miyan (16) and Mohsin (17) of Umedgarh. In his complaint to the police, Khurshid, father of Annu Miyan, said his son and Mohsin were working in a private factory in Ramnagar. His son had told him that they had some feud with a youth, Vikas, of Sanpera village, who was also working in his factory. He threatened them regularly after which his son and Mohsin had left the job.

Khurshid alleged that on Sunday, Vikas along with two other youths came to his house and took Mohsin and Annu with them on three motorcycles, but they did not come back. When they started searching them, they found their clothes near the Mimarpur ghat of the Yamuna. With the help of divers, the bodies were fished out on Monday. The Murthal police have registered a case against Vikas and his two friends.
