A woman has alleged that her 13-year-old son has been kidnapped by his father. The complainant, Kavita, has been staying away from her husband, Gaurav, for several years.

The couple’s son has been staying with Kavita, while their daughter stays with Gaurav. The boy had gone to attend tuition at Omaxe City, but did not return home. In a complaint lodged with the police, Kavita alleged that a car driven by Gaurav can be seen chasing her son in CCTV footage.

“Later, my son’s bicycle was also seen in the same car, which went towards Delhi,” she said. The police has registered a case and launched a search operation to trace the missing boy.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
