The Yatra began from Madhogarh, proceeded through Dalnawas and Surehati, and concluded at Satnali town, where tributes were paid to martyrs. Brijendra’s father and former Union Minister Birender Singh also participated in the yatra.
Speaking on the occasion, Brijendra expressed the possibility of irregularities in the recent Bihar Assembly elections. He criticised the distribution of Rs 10,000 to women before the polls, calling it government bribery.
The Congress leader noted that while several factors might have influenced the outcome, money often outweighed religion and caste. He urged party workers not to be disheartened by Bihar’s results and referred to Rahul Gandhi’s press conference in the Lok Sabha, highlighting alleged vote manipulation in Haryana, particularly in urban areas.
Brijendra emphasised that the ‘Sadbhav Yatra’ had drawn wide attention across Haryana, with its aim being to promote social harmony. He highlighted Mahendragarh’s historic significance as a revolutionary region and a centre of past movements marked by significant sacrifices.
The former MP also acknowledged the support and affection received from the public during the Yatra, stressing that there was no deceit or false promise involved.
