The house of a police official was burgled in Manesar police line burgled. The burglars decamped with jewellery worth lakhs and Rs 6.5 lakh.

Head constable Surender Kumar, a resident of Loharu, is deployed in Traffic Tower.

According to the complaint filed by him, he and his family had gone to the market for shopping and found the lock broken when they returned home at around 7 pm. “My flat was ransacked and cash and my wife’s jewellery was missing,” he said.

An FIR has been registered under Section 380 and 454 of the IPC at Manesar police station.
