Haryana Cabinet Minister Anil Vij expressed his dissatisfaction with the functioning of officials, stating that they fail to follow his directions. As a result, he has stopped holding weekly Janta Darbars, which were intended to address public grievances in Ambala Cantonment. Moreover, Vij threatened to start an agitation and even consider a fast unto death to ensure that public works are completed.

He said, “The officials don’t follow orders. I have stopped holding weekly Janta Darbars, and may also stop attending the grievances committee meetings. People of Ambala Cantonment have elected me seven times, and if need be, will sit on fast unto death like Jagjit Singh Dallewal to get their work done.”

This is not the first time Vij has publicly expressed his displeasure with his own government and officials. Previously, he accused party workers and officials of conspiring against him in the assembly election last year.
