Panipat: An essay-writing competition was organised at Arya College under the aegis of the chemistry department and Raman Chemical Association. The participants presented their thoughts on several topics such as prevention of cybercrime, role of science in increasing milk production, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy and ancient Indian science and technology. The jury members included Geetanjali Dhawan, Anil Kumar, Prof Shikha Garg and Prof Sudesh. Students from medical and non-medical streams participated in the event. The college principal, Jagdish Gupta, said 50 students participated in the competition, of whom 10 were selected for the district-level essay-writing competition.

Safai Mitra Suraksha Camp

Mahendragarh: A Safai Mitra Suraksha Camp was organised in collaboration with National Service Scheme (NSS) unit for housekeeping employees at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh, under the Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan-2024. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Tankeshwar Kumar, said the health check-up of the housekeeping employees was carried out during the camp. Medical consultation and medicines, etc. were provided to the employees during the camp.
