Rohtak: Prof Preeti Boora Doon from department of chemistry, Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), presented a research paper at an international conference held in San Francisco, USA. She presented the paper on ‘Challenges in science and technology research’, which was appreciated by the conference chairman Grace Harper, conference manager Nathan Vincent and other participants.

Research grant for UHS students

Rohtak: Students pursuing postgraduation from any department of Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHS), Rohtak, will now get financial aid for research. Dhruva Chaudhry, dean (academic affairs) and chairman of research cell at UHS, said a postgraduation dissertation support scheme had been launched by the university for students pursuing research/dissertation. The theses can be sent online to the research cell. The students of MD, MS and MCH courses as well as post-doctoral fellows registered with the university are eligible for the grant.
