Sonepat: Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya (BPSMV), in association with Minin Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University, Russia, organised an intensive Russian language programme titled “Such a Diverse Russia”. The event was jointly organised by the Office of International Affairs and the Department of Foreign Languages at the university. Vice-Chancellor Prof Sudesh was the chief patron of the organising committee. Dr Nadezhda Igorevna Kotliarevskaia, a distinguished Russian language expert from Minin University, conducted the course. The course, designed for 72 hours (including classroom and independent work), focused on teaching essential Russian reading, writing and grammar skills, while imparting linguistic and cultural knowledge about the history and cities of Russia.

Modelites shine at badminton tourney

Rohtak: Students of Model School, Sector 4, won the bronze medal at the Under-14 Badminton Competition organised by the CBSE at RBSM School in Bhondsi (Gurugram) recently. The winning team, comprising Tushan, Uttam, Pankaj and Darsh, was led by DPE Asha Jangra. Principal Ritu Madan congratulated the winners.
