Caretaker found murdered in house in Gurugram

The caretaker of a house in Sector15, Part 2, here, who was also working as a gardener in nearby houses, was allegedly found murdered in a room of the house this afternoon.

The police said the body had sharp injuries on the head and face and the mobile phone of the deceased was also found missing. The police said there was a possibility of a murder during a robbery. An FIR has been registered at the Civil Lines police station.

The deceased caretaker is identified as Bhura, a native of Madhya Pradesh. He was living in house No: 687 in Sector 15, Part 2.

Bhura also worked as a gardener in the adjoining houses. It was this morning when he did not come to work till 11am that an acquaintance went to the house. He found the gate was closed. He then jumped the wall and went inside and found him lying dead in a pool of blood. The police was called and it took the body to the mortuary.

The family was informed and on the complaint of Raju Khangar, brother of the deceased, an FIR has been registered against unidentified accused under Sections 302 (murder), 34 (common intention) of the IPC at the Civil Lines police station.

“The people nearby told us that the deceased was seen by them walking till around 9.30 pm on Tuesday night. We are investigating all angles and soon the reason behind death will be clear”, said inspector Pankaj Kumar, SHO of the Civil Lines police station.
