The CBI registered a case on May 29 on allegations that the accused was creating, possessing, collecting, exchanging and uploading CSAM in electronic form.

According to officials, the agency identified the presence of CSAM through Interpol’s International Child Sexual Exploitation (ICSE) database, along with tipline reports generated by Google and shared with the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), Ministry of Home Affairs.

Further analysis revealed that the material originated from Hisar and involved multiple child victims.

During the operation, several minor victims were identified, who had reportedly been raped, sexually assaulted, threatened and exploited over a number of years for the creation of pornographic content.

The accused was arrested the same day. CBI officials confirmed that the investigation is ongoing to ascertain the full scope of the crimes and identify any additional victims or collaborators.
