The CBI on Friday told its Special Magistrate, Haryana, that it was considering challenging a Home Department order to deny prosecution sanction against four cops for implicating a schoolbus conductor for the murder of a seven-year-old boy in Gurugram in 2017.

CBI counsel Amit Jindal told the court that “their file for challenging the sanction order of Rajeev Arora, Additional Chief Secretary, Home, is under process and suitable time be given to them”. The victim’s father had moved the HC against the denial of prosecution sanction. — TNS
