The ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), Karnal, has added another feather to its cap as six of its PhD scholars, 4 from Dairy Extension Division and one each from Forage Section and Animal Nutrition Division have been selected as scientists by the Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.

The selected candidates — Gunashekhar H, Manjunath KV, Vani Chandran, Keesam Manasa, Rakesh Kumar and Antara Gupta — not only cleared the rigorous selection process, but also secured top positions, underscoring the high academic standards and research excellence fostered at the institute.

Dr Dheer Singh, Director and Vice Chancellor of NDRI, congratulated all the newly selected scientists, expressing confidence that their scientific acumen. He also commended the faculty and staff of the institute for their unwavering support and mentorship, which played a crucial role in the students’ success.
