The Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2025 for the Group C posts conducted by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission across the state on July 26-27 concluded today. A total of 13.48 lakh candidates were eligible for the CET that was conducted in four shifts over two days.

Expressing satisfaction at the successful conduct of the examination, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said seamless arrangements turned into an outstanding example of how the government, administration, police, and society could work hand-in-hand to create a hassle-free enivronment for lakhs of candidates and their families.

In Kurukshetra, as many as 37,415 candidates gave the CET over two days. On Sunday, 18,563 out of 20,572 candidates sat in the exam at 41 examination centres across 30 locations in the district. Haryana Police personnel were seen helping the candidates reach their examination centres and ensuring tight security arrangements around the centres. Dial 112 emergency response vehicles (ERVs) and riders were too seen cooperating with the candidates.

In Yamunanagar, the CET was conducted peacefully and successfully at all 47 examination centres set up across the district. DC Parth Gupta and SP Kamaldeep Goyal inspected the examination centres and took stock of the arrangements made for the candidates. The DC said of 11,314 candidates, 10,444 were present in the first session, while 843 candidates were absent. He said on July 26 and 27, a total of 42,024 candidates appeared for the exam.

Even in Rohtak and Jhajjar districts, the CET was conducted smoothly. While 65 examination centres were set up in Rohtak, 14 were established in Jhajjar. Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) Chairman Himmat Singh visited several centres in Rohtak to review the arrangements. He also took stock of transportation-related arrangements. In Jhajjar, on Sunday, a total of 3,468 candidates in the first shift and 3,474 in the second shift appeared, while 446 candidates were marked absent for the day.

In Bhiwani, a total of 27,894 candidates appeared for the examination at 56 examination centres set up at 35 locations. Additionally, 70 duty magistrates were appointed, and 35 teams of officers were deployed in both morning and evening shifts. A total of 13,921 candidates in the morning and 13,973 in the evening sat in the CET.

In Sirsa, the CET conducted in Sirsa district on Sunday was completed in a peaceful manner across 64 examination centres with an attendance of 95.83%. In Hisar, the CET was held at 67 centres with 31,722 giving the examin. As many as 1,654 remained absent. Overall, 94.98 per cet attendance was registered at the exam centres in Hisar.

In Gurugram, the CET for Group-C posts concluded peacefully across 145 examination centres in Gurugram on Saturday and Sunday, held in four sessions. The district administration made elaborate arrangements, which were appreciated by candidates and their parents who came from different districts.
