The written examinations of the Haryana common eligibility test (CET) Mains for Group 56 and 57 went off peacefully and no case of cheating was reported. The exams were conducted by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) on August 17 and 18. Hitendra Kumar, MD, Karnal Cooperative Sugar Mill, said the exams were conducted with full transparency and in a peaceful manner at all centres. The exams for Group-56 were organised at 13 centres on Saturday and 3,297 out of the 3,883 registered candidates appeared for it. The exams for Group 57 were conducted at 47 centres, wherein 10,487 out of 14,665 registered candidates took the test. Hitendra Kumar added that 586 candidates were absent for Group 56 and 4,178 candidates did not attend the Group 57 exam. The district administration ensured strict monitoring and complete transparency throughout the examination process on both days. TNS
