The CM Flying team carried out a drive against overloaded vehicles and drivers who were not following rules in the district. The Hisar range team imposed fine on nine vehicles and also impounded six overloaded vehicles.

The team headed by the CM Flying Hisar Range in-charge, Sunaina, Traffic Inspector Harvinder Singh from the RTA office and other officials carried out the operation. A total penalty of Rs 21,7000 was imposed on them.

The CM Flying team had received information that several drivers were operating overloaded vehicles without following regulations, and irregularities such as non-payment of tax, lack of insurance, and absence of pollution certificates were being detected. Acting on the tip off, the team conducted a special checking drive on several main roads in Hansi and Hisar from morning till afternoon on Monday.

Sunaina informed that during the inspection, the team checked registration certificates, driving licences, insurance papers, pollution certificates, tax payment receipts, and even the width and weight of the loaded Vehicle owners who paid the challan amount online on the spot were allowed to proceed, while six vehicles whose owners did not pay the amount were impounded, she said. During the check up, seven drivers were fined for operating overloaded vehicles, one for air pollution violation and one school/college bus driver was fined for not wearing a uniform and for the bus not having an attendant.
