Yashika Rohilla, a class-6 student from Kiitjee Public School in Gurugram, has earned a place in the India Book of Amazing Records for her role in inspiring 1,25,138 students to participate in a letter-writing competition on the completion of 10 years of the Swachh Bharat Mission.

The competition, organised by the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram and the Education Department, invited students from 270 schools across the city to write letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the importance of cleanliness. Yashika, who has served as a brand ambassador for the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) for the last two years, played a key role in motivating fellow students to take part in this initiative.

Kuldeep Hindustani, SBM Program Coordinator for MCG, presented Yashika with a certificate, trophy, and medal in recognition of her efforts in encouraging such a large number of students to participate.

The entire staff and students of Kiitjee Public School, including director Sonu Kataria, principal Sangeeta Kataria, and class teacher Prachi Khurana, expressed pride in Yashika’s achievement. Sonu Kataria praised Yashika for not only bringing accolades to the school but also setting a powerful example for other students to follow in promoting cleanliness.
